Body contouring

Body fat reduction

Non-surgical reduction of localised fat deposits that persist despite diet and training.

What it is

This treats stubborn pockets — flanks, lower abdomen, inner thighs, under the chin — where fat resists general weight loss. It is a contouring treatment, not a weight-loss treatment: the aim is the shape of a specific area, and it works best on people already near their stable weight.

How the session goes

The area is mapped and marked, then treated with the modality chosen for it. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the zone. You can return to normal activity immediately; the treated area may feel tender or firm for several days as it settles.

Suited to

  • Localised deposits that have not responded to diet and exercise
  • Patients at or near a stable weight
  • Anyone wanting contour change without surgery or general anaesthetic

Not a treatment for obesity and not a substitute for weight management. Excluded in pregnancy, and where there is a hernia or significant skin laxity in the treatment area.
